Hugo Silver is a pianist based in Courchevel, performing at weddings, luxury hotels and private events across France. With a repertoire of over 1,000 songs played from memory, he combines classical training with an instinctive ear for familiar melodies, creating performances shaped by the people and atmosphere around him.
Hugo began playing at seven, studying classical piano with Isabelle Adam-Porrès while teaching himself to reproduce songs by artists such as Michael Jackson and Queen. That combination of technique and playing by ear remains central to his style: expressive, spontaneous and full of personal touches.
His professional career began at Disneyland Paris before taking him to Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe. Returning to France, he settled in the Alps, performing at Courchevel’s Manali and Annapurna hotels before joining Cheval Blanc Courchevel in 2026. During the summer, he swaps the mountains for the Normandy coast, where he has been resident pianist at Hôtel Le Normandy in Deauville since 2017.
His musical world reaches well beyond the traditional piano bar. His recorded covers include songs by Elton John, Adele, Sia, Tom Odell, Daft Punk and Avicii, bringing contemporary pop, familiar classics and unexpected favourites to the piano. His online performances have also led to opportunities on stage, including an invitation to support Tom Odell in Paris.
For weddings and private celebrations, Hugo adapts his performance to each part of the occasion. He can accompany a ceremony, provide live piano music during a drinks reception or dinner, and bring guests together around the piano for requests, singalongs and a musical guessing game.
Whether performing in a French château, an Alpine chalet or a hotel lounge, Hugo brings the same attentive approach. His ability to move between intimate, expressive playing and sociable entertainment makes him a versatile choice for hosts who want music to feel personal.
