Small Horse & The Plan produce a larger sound than you may first suspect for a duo, with Dan’s guitar style building on a unique sense of rhythm created by the percussive sounds of his stomp box and foot tambourine. This provides a rich backdrop to Mari’s characterful, attention-grabbing vocal and is often combined with her ukulele, harmony pedal or hand percussion to increase the duo’s soundscape once again.
Dan and Mari have years of combined experience in professional music, having performed in different line-ups at various venues, events and festivals. Their broad and growing repertoire (from Gloria Gaynor to Green Day and beyond), delivered through strong musicianship with a dash of fun, has garnered them a growing reputation as a must-have act to keep audiences singing and dancing all night!
This multi-instrumental duo place captivating female vocals and rhythmical guitar into a classic and contemporary set – along with a few songs you may have forgotten you loved! Adding into the mix percussion and a ukulele, Small Horse & The Plan take on both a modern and vintage vibe that will leave you smiling!
