New Bands on the Après Scene: Part 1

Discover your new favourite Après Band!

Winter is here, and so is the electric buzz of the après-ski season! As Après Ski Bands continues to grow, we’re thrilled to see more and more venues looking for live music to elevate their winter experience. To meet this rising demand, we’re introducing some incredible new talent to the scene. But fear not – our beloved regular bands are also back to deliver the unforgettable performances you know and love.

This year, we’re excited to welcome three phenomenal new bands who are already making waves with their fresh talent, high-energy performances, and ability to turn any event into a party to remember. Here’s a sneak peek at Ski Girls, Superficial Damage, and The Late Night Pickups – the new faces of après-ski entertainment!


SKI GIRLS

Ski Girls: 

Formed in 2023 and hailing from Chester, Ski Girls are already turning heads and setting dance floors ablaze. The trio features drummer and après-ski veteran Jack Hollins, guitarist Josh Gibbons, and bassist Ewan Bolam. Together, they bring a unique blend of experience and electrifying stage presence to every performance.

Far from newcomers to the music scene, the band members have performed at iconic venues like The Etihad Stadium, M&S Bank Arena, and even made appearances on national television! Their repertoire spans from indie classics like Oasis to pop anthems from the likes of Pitbull, ensuring a setlist that caters to every crowd. Whether you’re singing along or dancing your ski boots off, Ski Girls know exactly how to get the party started.

Catch them this winter from December to February in: Cavern, Le Tremplin and L’adresse in Morzine, Cocorico in Val d’Isère and Tignes, Smithy’s in Alpes d’Huez, Funky Fox in Courchevel 1650, La Terrasse du Village, Jacks, The Doron Pub and Le Rond Point in Méribel, La Mine in La Plagne, La Taïga in La Tania, Chambre Neuf in Chamonix and L’Art B in St Martin de Belleville


Superficial Damage: High Energy, Big Personality

If you’re looking for a performance that’s nothing short of spectacular, Superficial Damage is the band for you. This dynamic quartet brings a perfect mix of talent, charisma, and sheer musical prowess to the stage.

At the heart of their magic is their bold and untamed front woman, whose powerful vocals and magnetic personality instantly captivate audiences. From delivering epic renditions of classic rock hits to more contemporary favourites – and even a few of their original compositions – Superficial Damage have a sound as versatile as it is exciting.

But it’s not just about the music; this band knows how to engage a crowd. With infectious energy, cheeky banter, and unstoppable stage presence, they’re the kind of act that transforms a good night into a truly unforgettable one.
Catch them in March and April in:  Cavern, L’adresse and Le Tremplin in Morzine, Cocorico in Val d’Isère and Tignes, L’Elephant in Le Praz, Le Rond Point in Méribel, Funky Fox in Courchevel 1650, La Mine in La Plagne and Smithy’s in Alpes D’Huez.


The Late Night Pickups: Eclectic Party Starters

There’s nothing quite like a band that can keep the dance floor packed all night long, and The Late Night Pickups are experts at doing just that. Featuring four incredibly talented musicians, this band delivers an electrifying mix of 60s rock ‘n’ roll bangers, 2000s pop hits, and everything in between.

With powerhouse vocals, dazzling musicianship, and energy that radiates from the stage, The Late Night Pickups create the ultimate party atmosphere. Their genre-spanning setlists cater to everyone – whether you’re a fan of The Beatles, Britney Spears, or anything in between, you’re guaranteed a night filled with music that gets everyone singing, dancing, and smiling.
