Tasty Sax

Hamish AKA Tasty Sax has been performing live for the last 15 years and has played sax since his hands were big enough to hold one. Trained classically at Goldsmiths College his love of Dance Music led him into the world of DJing with live saxophone.

With this combination he has played at venues and events such as The BAFTAS, Grosvenor Hotel, London Sky Garden, Ministry of Sound, Baku Palace, Hotbed and a plethora of Student Unions around the U.K. In recent years Hamish has held a residency at The Skinny Kitchen, as a Guest Act on P&O Cruises and is also an in demand Saxophonist and DJ for destination weddings. The main repertoire is Dance focused with House Classics being a staple including Garage and Drum and Bass.

Hamish’s experience in open format is grounded and he has no problem playing soul, disco, rock, RnB, 80s and Pop when required. While the main focus is high energy, Hamish is more than happy to take the level down a touch and provide a tone for people to relax and chat as he has done at Conferences and Expos at The Excel Center and the N.E.C. Hamish has designed 20 minute premixed Medley Sets over the course of the last few years that allow him the freedom to take center stage on top of his subs or roam around the crowd for an extended amount of time creating a more interactive experience for his guests.
