The Al Jones Band

The Al Jones Band is a seasoned party band rooted in the vibrant après-ski scene of the French Alps, bringing live music that gets everyone singing, dancing, and having a great time. Based out of Méribel and performing up and down the mountains all winter, the band has become a staple at Rond Point (Ronnie) each week and has played hundreds of private parties, après-ski gigs, weddings and corporate events across the region.

Led by the charismatic Al Jones — a skilled musician, singer and guitarist with roots in acoustic, pop and folk influences — the band delivers energetic performances that blend live instrumentation with crowd-friendly showmanship. Whether it’s a laid-back apéro set to warm up the crowd or a full-on evening of dancing and sing-alongs, The Al Jones Band knows how to craft the right atmosphere from start to finish

Their versatility means they shine in roaming formats, intimate acoustic moments, and full band party mode — ideal for après-ski bars, resort stages, wedding receptions, lakeside events or private chalet gigs across the French Alps and beyond. Audiences love them for their broad repertoire that covers classic hits, modern favourites and crowd-pleasing party anthems, all delivered with energy and musical flair.

The Al Jones Band doesn’t just play events — they elevate them, turning every occasion into an unforgettable live music experience.

“Al was amazing to work with from beginning to end – he was a complete joy!
He worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organise and orchestrate our music plans and preferences for our three day wedding in Meribel!
His DJ-ing at the Saturday wedding party kept the entire dance floor full until 3am, and the live set with the Al Jones Band at our Sunday recovery BBQ helped blow away the hangovers and got the party started all over again!”
